The integrity and transparency coalition in its aim to enforce international treaty for the United Nations would like to invite you to attend the organizational meeting which is the parallel discussion of the report, presented to the Second Conference of the States Parties at the International Convention against Corruption. In addition to this, there will be a selection and nomination of an advisory committee to assist the project coordinator of Transparency International due to be launched in Egypt shortly. The attendees will discuss some of the coordinating and administrative matters concerning the nature of the coalition work and the future steps and measures. It is expected that the meeting will be attended by a delegation of representatives of Transparency International. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at the Arab Bureau of law at five p.m.. Note: The Coalition welcomes the presence of all the organizations, institutions and individuals involved to support fairness and transparency

Arab Bureau of law is pleased to announce the launch of the first issue of the transparency Bulletin, which aims at: 1 –monitoring and analyzing the most important incidents of corruption during the month. 2 - monitoring the activities of civil society working in the area of combating corruption during the month. 3 - monitoring the cases of corruption in the Arab countries. 4 - monitoring and follow-up of laws and legislations in support of integrity and transparency 5 – follow up on Arab News Bureau and its diverse activities in the fight against corruption (a coalition of fairness and transparency) 6 – create an awareness of the culture of integrity and transparency. The editors of transparency bulletin invite the parties interested in the support of transparency and integrity in Egypt and the Arab world to participate by submitting opinion articles and relevant news reports . The board of editors will assess and publish the received articles. The article should be between 600-1200 words, to be sent to us no later than 22/2/2008.
